SylWrap Pipe Repair Kits & Superfast Leak Repair Putties
Sylmasta leak repair products enable any user to make a permanent repair to a leaking pipe without the need for formal training. Repairs are effective on pipes of all materials and diameters, from small domestic plumbing to major pipework infrastructure including water supply networks and oil refineries.
Depending on the complexity of the application, repairs can be made in under 30 minutes to pipes made of steel, copper, malleable iron, GRP, ceramic, clay, concrete, rubber and lead. Most of the products in the range have WRAS approval, certifying them as safe for use with drinking water.
Superfast Epoxy Putty Sticks are used to fill holes and cracks in pipes where pressure can be turned off. Wrap & Seal Pipe Burst Tape repairs live leaks where flow cannot be isolated. The initial sealant should then be overwrapped with SylWrap Bandage for enhanced protection and a permanent repair.
Repairs can be built with pressure resistance to 30 bar and temperature resistance to 280°C (using Superfast Titanium) on pipes carrying hot and cold water and chemicals.
Superfast Epoxy Putty, Wrap & Seal and SylWrap Bandage can be purchased separately or together in a SylWrap Pipe Repair Kit. Water companies in the United Kingdom, Mexico and Malaysia amongst others use SylWrap Kits for emergency leaking pipe repair on the public supply network.
