Sylmasta Pipe Refurbishment System Stage 1
Sylmasta Leak Sealant products are used for the repair and sealing of holes and cracks in burst and leaking pipes, forming the first stage of the Sylmasta Pipe Refurbishment System.
Repairs made using Leak Sealants are effective on pipes of all diameters made from steel, copper, plastics, malleable iron, GRP, ceramic, clay, concrete, rubber, and lead.
Where pressure cannot be turned off, Wrap & Seal Pipe Burst Tape is wrapped around pipework, fusing into a silicone rubber band which seals live leaks.
When flow can be isolated, Superfast Epoxy Putty plugs smaller holes and cracks quickly and easily. To improve effectiveness, specific formulations of Superfast are manufactured for different pipe types.
For larger leak sealing repairs where a greater quantity of putty and a longer work time are required, Sylmasta AB Original offers a two hour cure time. AB Original comes with high chemical resistance, extreme temperature resistance and bonds well to wet surfaces for underwater repairs.
Sylmasta AB Rapid 5 Minute is a quicker working version of Sylmasta AB; offering the bulk quantities of AB Original and the speed of Superfast Epoxy Putty.
Wrap & Seal and Superfast Copper all have WRAS approval, meaning they are certified to British standards as safe to use for leak sealing on pipes carrying drinking water.
Wrap & Seal is a WRAS approved waterproof pipe repair tape made from self-fusing silicone. It is used as a leak sealant when flow cannot be turned off, stretching by 300% as it is wrapped around pipework to form a solid rubber band over the leak area.

Superfast Steel Epoxy Putty Stick
Superfast Steel is a steel-filled epoxy putty in an easy-to-use, pre-formatted 114g stick. It has a quick work time for sealing smaller holes and cracks in industrial pipework when pressure can be turned off.

Superfast Titanium Epoxy Putty Stick
Superfast Titanium is a titanium-filled epoxy putty specifically formulated for sealing leaks and cracks on high temperature pipework up to 280ºC, including steam pipes and tanks. It comes in an easy-to-use, pre-formatted 114g stick.

Sylmasta AB Original Epoxy Putty
Sylmasta AB is a ceramic filled, super-strength putty which bonds to all materials. It has high chemical resistance, is effective underwater and has a two hour work time allowing more putty to be mixed and applied when sealing larger cracks.

Sylmasta AB Rapid 5 Minute Epoxy Putty
Sylmasta AB Rapid combines the cure speed of 114g Superfast Epoxy Putty Sticks with the bulk quantity availability of Sylmasta AB Original. It enables repairs to be made in 5 minutes to larger cracks on pipes of all materials and has good chemical resistance.
