Sylmasta – UK Based Epoxy Putty Stick Manufacturer
Sylmasta have invested heavily in introducing the latest epoxy putty stick technology to our UK factory, making us the only manufacturer currently producing its own sticks in Europe. They are supplied under our Superfast brand and are trusted by some of the biggest names in maintenance adhesives.
Included in our range are sticks for steel, aluminium, copper, concrete, plastic, wood, wet surface and high temperature repairs. We also produce a general purpose stick with a two-hour work time, offering longer to form the putty in complex applications without the threat of premature curing.
Because we make our own sticks, we are able to work with customers to meet specific requirements in addition to our standard epoxy putty. We can provide customised formulations and modifications to meet client needs, including adjustments to cure times and colour.
Sylmasta epoxy putty sticks are available in standard 20mm diameter and 30mm diameter “fat” sticks. Two of the range – Superfast Steel and Superfast Aqua PW – have WRAS approval, meaning they are certified to British standards as safe to use with drinking water.
When fully cured, Sylmasta epoxy putties can be tapped, drilled, screwed, sawed, machined, ground, filed or painted. They are resistant to water, chemicals and temperature extremes.
They contain no solvents or VOC’s, are non-flammable and release no noxious fumes. They will not shrink or pull away when setting. And any unused stick stays fresh for future use when saved in its original package.

Superfast Steel Epoxy Putty Stick
Steel-filled epoxy putty with WRAS approval for use with pipes and fittings carrying potable water. It sets to a metallic colour and has a 3-minute work time for making rapid repairs to steel, iron and other ferrous metals.

Superfast Aluminium Epoxy Putty Stick
Epoxy putty formulated for the repair and bonding of aluminium, other alloys and different types of metalwork. It has a fast 4-minute work time, sets to a metallic colour and seals holes in radiators, tanks, boats, castings and industrial equipment.

Superfast Copper Epoxy Putty Stick
Copper-filled epoxy putty used mainly in pipe repair applications. It sets to a copper colour and has a 3-minute work time for making rapid repairs to copper, brass, bronze and other non-ferrous metals.

Superfast Aqua Potable Water Epoxy Putty Stick
Specialist epoxy formulated for very high underwater and wet surface adhesion. It sets white and has WRAS approval. It has a 5-minute work time and bonds to many different substrates in damp, wet, saltwater and freshwater conditions.

Superfast Titanium Epoxy Putty Stick
Specialist epoxy putty formulated for high temperature repair and bonding applications with resistance to 280ºC. It sets to a golden colour, has a 90-minute work time and adheres to most materials operating under extreme heat.

Superfast Concrete Epoxy Putty Stick
Concrete-filled putty which sets grey for uniform repair of concrete, stone and masonry. It has a 4-minute work time and is used to restore ornaments, statues, headstones, steps, railings and paths by filling gaps and bonding parts back together.

Superfast Plastic Epoxy Putty Stick
Plastic-filled epoxy putty which repairs and bonds all major types of plastics, except polyolefins. It comes with a 20-minute work time and sets white. Applications include sealing leaks and holes in PVC and ABS pipes, and permanently bonding broken plastic parts together.

Superfast Wood Epoxy Putty Stick
Wood-filled epoxy putty which cures to a material sharing appearance, hardness and density similar to wood. It is used as a filler in restoration and repair applications, and for high-strength bonding between wood and other materials.

Sylmasta AB Original Epoxy Putty Stick
General purpose epoxy putty which is ceramic-filled for super strength. It has a two-hour work time, giving the user longer to apply. It bonds to all materials, cures underwater, has high chemical and corrosion resistance, and can be manufactured in different colours.
