Epoxy Paste

Industrial Metal fills holes, gouges and large areas of damage to metal, plastics and wood. It cures on wet surfaces and is reinforced with corrosion-resistant platelets. Applying Industrial Metal to pipework, equipment or machinery offers protection against corrosion and chemical attack.

Where a structure has been weakened, Industrial Metal can be used to rebuild the degraded part. In pipe repair applications, it restores surface profile by returning a weakened pipe back towards its original thickness.

The work time of Industrial Metal is 60 minutes, offering enough time for careful application without concern of curing beginning before the repair is complete. Industrial Metal Rapid is a faster-working version with a 5-minute gel time for use in applications requiring a quick turnaround.

Titanium HT Supergrade is designed for more extreme repairs of systems operating at temperatures up to 250ºC. It has high compressive strength, making it suitable for use on stress bearing equipment.

Ceramic Supergrade is filled with silicone carbide for an ultra-smooth, low friction finish which is highly resistant against abrasion. WearShield and WearShield Rapid are alumina bead-filled and offer ultimate hardness for protecting equipment subjected to intense processes against all forms of impact damage.

Industrial Metal Epoxy Repair Paste

Metal-filled epoxy paste which rebuilds worn parts, fills cracks and protects against corrosion and chemical attack. It is the only Sylmasta epoxy paste which cures on wet surfaces and is BS 6920 compliant when used with SylWrap Bandage in pipe repair applications.

Titanium Supergrade HT Epoxy Paste

Alloy-filled epoxy paste with very high compressive strength and extreme temperature resistance. It is used for the repair and maintenance of systems operating in environments up to 250ºC and stress-bearing equipment including shafts, keyways and splines.

Ceramic Supergrade Epoxy Paste

Silicone carbide-filled epoxy paste which forms an ultra-smooth, low friction material highly resistant to abrasion. It rebuilds existing parts damaged by wear and is applied to new equipment to create a hardened protective shell, extending the lifespan of machinery.

WearShield Impact Resistant Epoxy Paste

Alumina bead-filled epoxy for ultimate hardness and protection against all types of wear and impact damage. It is applied to equipment, machinery and surfaces subject to intense processes in industries including mining, power plants, quarries and mills.

Functional Cure: 8-12 hours

WearShield Rapid Epoxy Paste

Fast-working version of WearShield with a 5-minute work time, a functional cure of 45 minutes and a three-hour full cure. It allows impact and wear protection measures to be made and equipment put back into service more quickly, minimising downtime and disruption.
